About Vivienne

Vivienne Savage is the pen name of two best friends who write everything together. One works as a nurse in a rural healthcare home in Texas, and the other is a U.S. Navy veteran. Both are mothers to two darling boys and two amazing girls. When they aren’t raising children, writing fantasy, or concocting ways for shapeshifters and humans to find their match, they play online RPG games to pass the time.

I fell in love with your Christmas story. You are new to me but I can tell you that you are already one of my favorites on my author list. And I agree about alphas also.

Keep us your fantastic writing and I will be yours for life. I plan to get your Wild Operatives. Happy New Year! Congrats on the baby.

Thank you! I’ve been hard at work and very busy working on my next release, so I only noticed this today. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me, I really appreciate it.

Hi Vivienne-what a beautiful name!!! I just finishing reading Chloe & Saul’s story “Saved by a Dragon”. I really enjoyed it, magical, loving amd adventurous. I just purchased the box set and can’t wait to dig in. You are a new author to me, I downloaded your story as it was free and sounded very good. I wasn’t disappointed. I have read the previews on several of your books amd know that I will be reading more of your stories. Thank you for writing such magical and creative stories.

Hi! Thank you so much for coming to contact me. It always fills me with glee whenever I have the chance to talk to someone who has read my work. I hope to make 2016 a productive year with even better stories.

I’ve been working long hours of finishing the followup novel to Loved by the Dragon Collection. Reads like you make me glad I took the risk on a free first book.

Have you thought of writing a story that uses fairy lore? the reason I ask is because it is a little understood mythology. Few people know of the fairy connection to demons, fallen angels, or ghosts. Fewer people still know that King Arthur, his Knights, and Merlin were originally British Gods.

And almost no one has heard of fairy doctors, witches who learned their craft from the fae.

Hi there, I actually write urban fantasy romance under another pen name heavily influenced by British and Celtic mythology. I love fairies.

Hello Vivienne, I just wanted to say that I love your Dawn of the Dragons series. Absolutely in love with the series. I can’t wait to buy the next release!

One thing I’ve been wondering is how the Dragons in your series would react to modern day social issues, especially gay marriage. Despite how many Dragons are steeped so far in the past, with their views on sexuality, I get the feeling that they are more open to the idea of it. However, the question is still there, how do they feel about it? Is there any chance of seeing a gay couple in the series? (Even as minor characters?)

I’ve not checked out your other books but might while I wait for the next book to come out. Please continue to create amazing works!

      Hi there, Jesse
As far as my dragons go, they’re very open to whatever makes people happy. I like to think that Max made a very progressive president and enacted a lot of laws for paranormal privacy as well as some for the LGBT community <3
Dragons are pretty ancient creatures, so there's probably also quite a few of them who are "anything goes" because pleasure is pleasure and as long as you enjoy the company, everything is grand. I have some gay and bisexual secondary characters in my other series but clearly overlooked adding some to my dragons. However there's a gay male witch in my upcoming book that I'm hoping to reveal the cover for within the next week. I tend to write female/female or female/female/male since it's what I know best and have one of those upcoming in my Wild Operatives series. I'm hoping to write a male/female/male mating trio there soon as well. Since I am not a LGBT author, threesomes/polyamory are as close as I get to touching that subject matter for now since I don't have the audience for it. I'd have to ask and see if there's interest enough to make it worth while.

      Thank you for contacting me!

Thanks for your reply! I thought I would get an email when you did and failed to check back sooner. Maybe I put in the wrong email…

I’m so excited for the new release in April. On the first… I hope it isn’t a prank. I already preordered. (This is the first book release I’ve ever preordered, I’m normally reading classics)

I’m not gay myself so I understand it would be hard, I was just curious about your thoughts on it. I loved Max as president and am currently reading the series through again. (I want to lie and say I’d skip over any male/male scenes of they came up but I probably won’t out of fear of missing something xD)

Will king Arthur as Astrid’s son be making an appearance? I am anxious to find out! The series is such a refreshing take on modern fantasy and after reading your series I just can’t read any of the other modern fantasy novels regarding dragons. Oh at least I have something to look forward to in April now.

Hello, Jesse! It looks like this thing didn’t notify me that anyone replied, and I forget to check in periodically to look.

Right now as I move the series forward, I’ve made plans to write stories for the adult ancient dragons and Javier only. I’ll have to revisit a possible story for Arthur at another time, but I do have a vague idea.

    Hello, Vivienne,
Just wanted to say that I have enjoyed your Dawn of the Dragons series and anxiously await your next one in the series. I also live in a rural Texas town, so of course I wonder to which big city your rural location is closest.
Thank you for writing such interesting stories!

    • Vivienne says:

I’m so thrilled that you enjoyed the books! Thank you.

I am closest to Houston, which is about 80 miles away. It takes about 4 hours to reach San Antonio from the Huntsville area.
